Colva Beach is one of the popular destinations of Goa and also a renowned beach of Goa. It is situated in south Goa and is 6 km from Margao city. The silvery texture of white sand along with the swinging palm trees makes it a tourist lover's beach and is next to the popularity of Calangute. This is the longest beach of Goa where you can find a blend of the sea with sand and sky, which create an inexplicable harmony of nature. Very few beaches can compete with the scenic beauty of Colva Beach.

The best time to visit Colva Beach is from the month of December to February. To reach Colva Beach, you can avail regular bus services from Vasco da Gama and Margao. There are also bus services from a major places of Goa. The nearest railway station is Konkan Railway Station, the new one, located 3 kms from Margao City Center. Regarding accommodation in Colva Beach, there are plenty of good quality guest houses and hotels. For eat outs near Colva Beach, you can visit the restaurants in and around this beach, where you can taste varieties of food in at reasonable rates.
The nightlife at Colva Beach is the most lively one in South Goa. Lots of young tourists visit this beach which contribute to the vibrant nightlife.
