Vagator Beach is one of the popular destinations of Goa as well as being a well known beach in Goa. It is surrounded with rocks and is very beautiful particularly in the early morning. The sea over here is not safe for swimming. One of the prime tourist attractions of Vagator Beach is the Chapora Fort. You will notice some old farmhouses and Portuguese bungalows. The white sandy beach of Vagator Beach has 'Little Vagator', which is a picturesque location which looks like a picture postcard. This beach is lined with coconut and palm trees, which along with soft white sand and beautiful sea, make it an ideal place to enjoy nature.

The best time to visit Vagator Beach is from September to March and it is located near Mapusa Road in North Goa. You can find suitable accommodation near Vagator Beach. There are family run budget guest houses as well as lavish private resorts and small private properties for rent, ideal for staying for a longer period of time. To Reach Vagator Beach, there are lots of buses from Vagator beach, Calangute beach and Mapusa. Apart from this, if you wish to travel by air, Dabolim Airport is the nearest airport and Karmali is the nearest railway station.
Vagator Beach has an excellent calm atmosphere and great for partying. You will have to walk a bit through the steep cliff, as two beaches are divided by rocks. The northern portion of the beach is more crowded than the southern portion which is a bit secluded and remains empty.
There are lots of eating joints near Vagator Beach, where you get palatable sea foods. They also serve Indian dishes along with famous Goan fish curry. For enjoying nightlife at Vagator Beach, Primrose Cafe is there for drinks and good music.
